I put it on before I went to sleep last night, first time I've checked it in a while. Still solid, it's pretty obvious that it was made to try and narrow the band's fanbase down, but a good album nonetheless.

Show it some love people.

Oh and "Present Tense" might be in my Top 10 PJ songs now. I haven't heard it in a long time, and damn, that song is underrated as fuck.

Took me close to 7 years to get into this album. If not for Yield, I probably would've been in that group of people that wrote Pearl Jam off in the late 90's, but I decided to give em another shot. Obviously I'm very happy I did. And now I love No Code. Not as much as most their albums (Binaural & RA are lower for me), but still great.

And yeah jammer, Present Tense is fuckin kick-ass. The jam towards the end is so cool. And Red Mosquito, IMT, and Habit -- :luv: too.

People are just getting into this album? Wow. It's been out for 13 years.

You have to consider it was made specifically to narrow the fan base.

uh huh... lol

I remember the outrage over the album, I just didn't think it would take 13 fucking years for people to get over it. This is a great album and it holds up REALLY well in today's musical environment. Maybe that's what it took, eh?

ps off topic : Stallion...... This cut can still get me off

The first time that I listened to No Code I didn't like it too much, but then I listened to it again, again and again and now I just love it.
I think Present Tense, Hai, Hail, Habit and Smile are my favourites.
