The first thing I thought about when I heard this song was, oddly enough, a song called cliche Olé by suicide commandos.

I'm with ye Spenno. It's a good tune. Though It will be largely forgotten about once they give us the new album.

i still think it is all right. If it is the low point of the record I'll be happy. I do love that outro though. Cool to hear something new from them

Yeah, if this song is on the album, I'd like more of that call and response stuff. It's a new thing. (And it would mean I'd hate the call / response thing a little bit less live).

This is the first song since... I don't know Riot Act... in a long time anyway, that hasn't gotten stale for me after a few weeks. It hasn't lost any of it's original luster, or worn off at all.

Yeah, I really love this song.

Funny how we didn't get this "don't bite the hand that feeds you" after Uniondale 2003. Do people listen to boots? A show to them is more than just playing a bunch of songs, and they are the first to heap praise and play extra for audiences that are really into it, or play a request for a specific fan that show emotion or dedication. Ed thanks audiences for enabling his lifestyle to a fault...it is like, every single show where he makes a speech about it. So he gets in the moment during a song you don't like this one time and it is all "screw Ed, man, what a freaking tool"?? Ease up.

I'm the one who said "fuck Ed" in this thread. I also happened to be at that Uniondale show in 2003. My thoughts then were "fuck the audience". Two different situations.

i'm not saying i won't buy his music or support the band anymore at all. I was basically just calling Ed out. It's all rock and roll, man. If anything, those folks should have been rocking a little harder but i'm sure there was a reason. I noticed two women in the front row were pregnant. One of them fainted during Little Wing. Maybe they were in awe. If you've never been in the front row, trust me, it's pretty awe inspiring

Here's the art from the iTunes single ...

The last part of this song is the most genuinely EXCITING piece of music I can recall thse guys coming up with for a good long while - from when Stone kicks in with that sexy riff halfway through Mike's solo right through to the completely bezerk shouty outro.

Guys, this song really DOES IT for me.

I've had the Chop Suey and Six Audio Theories tracks on my itunes for a while without a home. I just slapped the studio Olé, the Fallon performances, and the aforementioned tracks onto a playlist. Let's see what sticks and if this is worth burning for the car. The itunes single is a clear track 2.

i am kinda indifferent to the first half of the song, and the solo is pretty good, but the outro is great. I love that part of the song

This mix I'm making is entirely meant to welcome Olé into my car in grand fashion. I'm going to need a little bit more than what I'm working with. Enter the Self Pollution set. Exeunt "Mother". I'm really excited about this. Olé should sound great amongst the Vitalogy tracks and the raw sounding SVT/Chop Suey mixes.

Has anyone got the free version from iTunes US store? (Not free in Oz :? )
Any better quality than the 10C mp3?
