I'm hearing something like, "always knocking you down (with your life first)"

'Always sucking your toes' is what it sounds like.

i wonder what other songs you haven't listened to in the last month. Can you perhaps compile some kind of list?

GQ: You guys are especially known for your live shows. Even in New York, where it can be hard to move an audience, you'll see people at your shows banging their heads, bobbing along.
Jim James: I'm not the kind of frontman that yells at the crowd and tells them to clap and jump like some bands, everybody jumping up and down like an exercise routine. We just hope that the vibe we put out connects with people's brains.

Not sure what that has to do with Olé, but  I've been listening to MMJ almost exclusively for a solid month.

That's a fine example of hard-hitting satire right there.

I haven't listened to a Pearl Jam song for several weeks, not even the ones I like.

I wonder when the next single is released what they will call this new trilogy of Fixer, Ole, and new single...

Actually I thought Ole was the final chapter of the trilogy, Supersonic being the middle one.

Me either. A few songs have come up on shuffle, and I've listened to those, but I haven't actively listened to them in weeks. Been on a huge Sonic Youth kick though, and they are scratching me where I itch right now. Also revisited some Wellwater Conspiracy. Man, I love that band. I kinda wish Pearl Jam would capture WWC's sound a bit. The loose / garage rock feel. Matt sounds SO much better in that band.
