Is the main page frozen? There haven't been any updates there since August. It would be nice if all these articles in Rolling Stone, etc about the new album or new stuff put up on the Goods section made it up there, like in a blog format. It's easier to check there for news there (or set your RSS reader) than to sort through the forum.
Do you need a volunteer? If there is an easy blogger/wordpress format, I'd be willing to try to do that. Maybe with a person or two backing me up, or people can send me private messages.

Hey, I'm not judging. I'm sure it's a lot of work and everyone has day jobs. I just know there isn't anything out there that would pass for a decent Pearl Jam Blog. I'd make one at blogger.com, but I get bored blogging with no audience. This site comes with a built in audience and a huge network of people to feed me content. It could be a pretty cool thing.

What if we make it an Ohnotheydidnt-type blog (http://ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com) where people who are members of the site can write in their own bits and nuggets of Pearl Jam news they find online, but it needs to be approved by a moderator (say a PJ forum moderator, like Stip)? That would be pretty cool, right?
I could help out too in the evenings if needed.

I do too. But I think a lot of people might come to TSIS for news who have no interest in the forum. Or at least they might it was a regular blog and the posts could be diseminated via facebook, delicious, digg it, twitter, ... all that shit.

I'll pass this along to the powers that be. They seem like good suggestions

is there a reason why the site hasn't had all the previous data transferred?
This site used to have everything I could ask for in a fansite, but now its just perpetually under construction with no noticeable progress. Its like 10club took over

Yeah, I used to love the setlist archive with all the mp3 links, I was sad to see that disappear.

I don't even go through the main page anymore... it is useless. And if you access the forum through there and open any links it opens the page in that smaller frame. I don't like the frames system much.
Instead I use this link index.php it bypasses the front page and don't have to deal with the frames.
