So I was just driving in the car and listening to an old tape I found of the PJ Melbourne 98 show broadcast on Triple J. DTE came on so I cranked it up and noticed something for the first time. During the 'Admire me..' part just after the 'Hallelujah' you can clearly hear EV laughingly say off mic 'Admire my 12 inch cock' :haha:

I couldn't find if this had been mentioned before but there must be other examples of funny stuff like this?

BAHAHAHAHA that's fucking hysterical :haha: :haha:

I've never heard that, but on some bootlegs you can hear the stage guys talking. During Animal at East Rutherford '06, right before the power outage, you can hear one of them go "we lost something... lost the lights(?), lost all the vocals..." in this really panicky voice :haha:

Santa Barbara 2003 before the first song I think you hear some audience dude yelling out "Rock out with your cock out!" which always gets a smile from me.

And of course the most famous PJ20 Destination Weekend android phone video feed with comments from my main man Gary - too many classics to mention.

I was listening to Randall's Island '96 tonight (second night) and was almost sure I heard Ed and Stone playing "Go Fish" off-mic during the "Even Flow" solo. Can anyone confirm or deny whether this is accurate?

It's Ed's very own Andy'your mother smells bad people!' wood moment.

You can say what you fuckin like up there and they'll lap it up.

Well, there you go. I've heard this show countless times and I've never caught that before.

It's the soundmen freaking out. The first part of the boot was recorded at the soundboard. I don't know how they managed to lose all the multis for the first part of the show. I thought that once you recorded it, it stays on the tape, but I guess not.

I figured it was either a crew member or for some reason, Matt. I guess it kind of sounds like him. I actually got to see that gig, but I love listening to it all fall apart on the recording.

They were doing that before the Satan's Bed massacre too. I wish I was at that show.

Both the State College & Hershey shows were within an hour of where I live. I could only afford one show, so I chose Hershey because I didn't want to deal with drunk Penn Staters. Stupid decision.

That Santa Barbara show has another great off mic thing where this one guy keeps telling his friend how Jack Irons is going to come out and how much ass he kicks. They soundchecked the album style In My Tree at that show with Jack so this guy is going on to his friend about how it will blow his mind, and then Jack comes out and the dude starts flipping out. They then proceed to play the re-arranged In My Tree and the friend is like "it was alright man" or something like that. You can hear the whole thing going on throughout the show.

On this new Toronto bootleg, right before Leatherman, there's a very pumped up gentleman in the crowd (left channel) who keeps crying out something that sounds like "Hey Mikey, what about the b-sides? the b-sides!"
