Pretty unremarkable. These songs are too bloody short. They're over by the time you've listened to them.

Not sure what happened to Got Some - it sounds flat and robotic. It's a shame because the Conan version was amazing.

This reminds me a little of Stairway to Heaven just with the gradual build (condensed into a much shorter song). A great 1-2 with Amongst the Waves. It just builds wonderfully with so much positive energy. This is such a feel good song, I fucking love it. Just so powerful. I said I wasn’t gonna give any 5 stars yet, so I’ll give this one 4.5. This was the kind of song that’s been missing since Yield, and we got two of them here.

I haven't heard the album yet, but I told everyone here that after listening to ed's live version of unthought known that this would be the best tune onthe record; I am excited!

Not in on this, not sure I will. But I'm curious about the reviews. I've always associated songs like Get Right, Big Wave, and Green Disease and "fun" PJ songs, and also one some dislike (for some reason I don't know cause I love em). So I'm very interested in how the fanbase will respond to an album of fun songs ........

Sorry, but on 1st listen, I thought "Unthought Known" was average at best. Maybe cause it had to follow "Amongst the Waves".

I don't like this new "Speed of Sound" as much as the demo.

It's 2009. If you sound flat you get auto tuned before the vocal gets in the mix.
