Depending on some of the links you follow, I followed one from TFT and got the ("this video is no longer available" message), it looks like some might be getting deleted.
Apparently so are some comments, which Dave A. seems to happily be re posting.

Dude, that is so fucking awesome. Thanks for posting, I would not have known about those vids otherwise. The overhead video of him playing drums on Porch rocks

That Lollapalooza vid is from the Lake Fairfax, Virginia show - most excellent.

That Porch was out-of-this-world-awesome!
Thankyou for the linkage.

I'm starting to think Dave either tried to fuck Beth or fucked some girlfriend of Jeff's to ellicit the amount of hatred the band is showing him nowadays.
No pic on the cover to Unplugged. His name spelled wrong on the liner notes to Unplugged. A specific shout-out to Krusen by Ed on the bonus tracks. A public thrashing on the better cut of SOLAT by Jeff. No kind of thanks ( that I've found) at all in this huge set and he was a vital part of the band in their formative years.
Damn, whatever he did to rub them wrong, it must've been pretty fucking bad.
Don't know how they're gonna be able to ignore him for the next two releases, but I'm sure they're working on it.

I dunno, I like Dave a lot. I love the direction the band went in when Jack joined but the Pearl Jam of the Dave A. era is the band I became a fan of initially and so I'll always have a big emotional attachment to the sound that particular line-up created. That's how Pearl Jam sound to me, basically.
The band, apart from Stone who has always publicly shown a lot of respect for him, have been gigantic dicks to him. I recall a webchat Jeff Ament did last year when he was asked something along the lines of "Why doesn't Pearl Jam play the South, don't you like Texans?" to which Jeff responded "Go ask Dave Abbruzzese - ha!".

I'll take the side of the Ed, Jeff, Stone and Mike...our best bet is he was a great drummer but a bit of a prick. Dave's rich and settled for life, I doubt he cares about his picture not being on something.

Was he a bit of prick, though? I can't think of a single verified instance of Dave displaying prick-like behaviour. I think you could make a much stronger argument for Ed being a dick than Dave, to be honest.
I dunno, I tend to think he got a raw deal. It was very petty to have removed Angel from Lost Dogs at the eleventh hour, for instance.
Unless Dave did something truly horrendous (whatever it was, it hasn't been reported thus far), he doesn't deserve the treatment he's gotten over the years. I'm sure he's no saint but c'mon, he was a vital part of their history - that deserves some kudos. I'd love to see the band bury the hatchet and have him up on stage one day...but I can't see that EVER happening.

well, the guys have a tendency to be overly loyal, keeping people that are obviously incompetent (or certainly not the best they could find) running part of 10c for example. So I don't think that if they STILL hold a grudge with Dave A. it's just because he "didn't fit in". He might have been fired because of that and THEN done something really shitty that means there's no hope of reconciliation.
we'll never know, and frankly I don't care. like it or not Matt is the drummer until they disband, that is pretty clear by now I'd think.
