It's just guitars and vocals, and the beginning isn't the tightest... but from Camaro's Hood to the end, I really like how this little demo of mine came out. Check it out (and sorry if this is posted in the wrong part of the forum). Please just move it to the appropriate forum if so.
FYI I have quite a few PJ-related songs on my ReverbNation Site http://www.reverbnation.com/rgriles if ya want to check it out. Mad love for the Red Mosquitos out there. Hope this new album comes sometime soon and is every bit as fantastic as everything else these guys have given to us.

You have some serious sync issues. Everything seems to be out of time. It's not a performance issue, though, sounds like something went wrong during the mixing. I'm sure it'd sound a lot better if you sorted them out.
The double-tracked vocal seems unnecessary.
Nice video.

Yeah, I'm not a producer and syncing was an issue... I really like the ending and the "living being" part.
I'm not really a lead singer so double and triple layer vocals are somewhat of a necessity on my demos to provide some thickness and to help when I get out of key on one layer (I can just mute that layer for a couple seconds) as I seek that femal voice that's going to be the lead for my band. Seeking a female Chris Cornell, Layne Staley type and I'll be the low-end backup and harmony, in addition to being the stone gossard of my band.
I appreciate the comments!!
Check out the other tunes, which are mostly just instrumental and have either direct or indirect PJ influences. I've got two other videos up... one is pure instrumental but I really like it... it's called Umpteen Years and Counting and it can be found on my youtube http://www.youtube.com/users/rgriles33)Peace!

Well if I could make a suggestion, I'd like to hear you do a straight cover of "Wishlist", live, just guitar and voice, no overdubbing. I'd like to hear that. I think a few missed notes are going to sound a lot better and more enjoyable than a bunch of out-of-sync parts that don't gel with each other.

Look for that sometime this evening if I have time.
In the meantime, I have some instrumental snippets that are very PJ related that some may find fun to listen to.
I'm looking for some Central California folks who love the PJ and want to play some of their catalogue, some Jack Johnson, some Chris Cornell, and some Originals with me. Not having a lot of luck so far. Just a lot of fun on my own... reminds me of a Green Day song. Anyhow... vocals on these coming soon, they're all just guitar right now.
Enjoy. Hey, if there's something you guys really want to hear, I'm out of town all weekend put I can play almost the entire catalogue... the question becomes singing. But, hit me with something you might want to hear and I'll see if I can work it up.
Again, trying to get a full band together. I have some originals that I want to develop...

I don't mean for this to be rude at all, but these covers are not good. Sorry but I figured, if these are serious, that someone should be honest with you. Actually, fuck it. I'm literally laughing while I listen to these. Keep making more lol,

To be fair; Wishlist is a very difficult song to sing. The cover is awful.

Your vocals are bad. You miss notes in a song that hardly has any notes to miss and overall you don't seem to have a good singing technique. It sounds kinda weird. Maybe you want to try to sing a little bit straighter, less trying to drag the notes all over the place and use that weird vibrato thing.
Your guitar playing isn't exceptionally good, either. Very often it's kind of unrhythmic and you make a lot of noise when trying to play loud. Have you ever had guitar lessons?

I think it's a joke post anyways. I mean the sync issues alone make it un-listenable. The poor guitar playing and hilarious vocals have actually turned this into a very awesome fucking cover.
