I feel like I see them too often but I'm afraid if I don't go I'll miss something. More than half of touring is getting to see friends. The shows are just a nice treat.
Agreed but I want it to be more than just a tasty treat on top of a great time. I always have a blast and the traveling never gets dull but I still want that show to be what im talking about afterwards.....
Also, maybe its not that ive seen them too many times, its just that they have been playing the same show for 4 years now since theyve only had one album in that time period.
i've seen them alot in the last 4 years and dont feel they've been playing the same show
Me too. But i had the luck, maybe, to see really weird shows too..who knows.... i get what Strat says im lucky too feel different i guess.

Most pearl jam fans in the ten club which are at every show are mostly trust fund babies with nothing better to do. I have never felt they were real friendly people. A few here and there, but most just want to believe this is the best pearl jam ever and that there entitled to pics and setlists from the stage. What I saw in Montreal last year really made me sick. And that DJ the Knob, he one of the worst culprits.

So I emailed 10C about the Atlanta show. They kindly thanked me for the email and said 'the 2012 bootlegs are being worked on'. Plural. Which means Atlanta and at least MIA or the Oracle show?

I would be very surprised if an official Oracle boot ever sees the light of day. But then again I never expected them to play a show like that either.

Maybe it's on the PJ20 release schedule.

Did anyone notice on their Facebook it says 'introducing the PJ instant classic bootleg series'
I wonder if the vault is finally being opened? Spenno?
I doubt this has anything to do with the Vault. The announcement seems to indicate this will be something they do when they feel they just played a special show of some kind - sort of like an Ape/Man signifier from the 2000 tour:

Every so often, performances like this stand out immediately as "one for the books" in the band's eyes. When they do, these "Instant Classics" will continue to be made available with this special offer.
Given their track record, I won't be holding my breath for "Instant Classic #2" any time soon. They tend to do these things then forget about them.
The Vault is still meant to be "The Vault", there's still a banner ad on their website for Vault #2 - who knows what's going on with that.

Well spotted. The vault and instant classic. There is a distinction. I just wonder so they know what it is we want. Sounds to me like the opening of the vault idea has been downgraded and instant classics is the best we are going to get.
