New Rule: Pearl Jam cannot refer to Neil Young as uncle Neil. Instead they have to talk about Father Bono.

It's funny, the other night a friend I were having a few beers and we were discussing how much money the band pissed away in the mid 90's with there ticketmaster fight and missing out on touring and deals. I am not surprised by what has gone on. People are gonna yell and say "fucking sellouts. But ya know what, these guys are close to 50, they only got so much time left, there CFO stole money. Gotta maximize profits now.

I'm not yelling sell out. It doesn't change my enjoyment of the music. It's just really lame. Pearl Jam used to be a band you could get behind for more than just the songs. Now they're just like everyone else.

Which would all be fine and good if they didn't still crow about their "own terms" and such

Exactly, it just makes me feel like joining the group of people telling ed to shut the fuck up when goes off on his rants.

Neil does whatever he wants. And that usually means he's going to play a bunch of music youve never heard until you walk out of the show pissed.

Pearl jam doing whatever they want is playing lame ass shows and waiting 10 years between albums.

Oracle isn't indie anything. They're the third most lucrative software maker in the world.
