Toughen up there, dime. It's nothing personal.

I was at the show and they were surprisingly good. Mike was sporting a mohawk which we haven't seen for a while. Regardless of how they may have felt abut playing a corporate show they came out and played great. Ed's voice was the best I've heard it in a long time. Must say it is very weird to hear Betterman with no crowd participation or Alive with no fist pumping. There was a lyrical reference to the night/event in Wishlist but I was pretty drunk and don't remember it. I did have a private laugh when Ed thanked Larry Ellison. And as an odd aside I met Doug RR's wife the night before at dinner and then drinks again the next night.

Ha, she told me the story

Don't say stupid things and people won't call you out on it - it's absolutely nothing personal.

Do you really need me to explain it? It was another attention-seeking post: not only did you announce that 10C apparently have a special interest in you, you also reminded everyone (just in case some of the newer posters weren't aware) that Glen Hansard is your cousin and that you had some rare recordings of Ed and Glen.

I don't think you're making any of it up, by the way, but it's not in any way relevant to what's going on in this thread. In any case, I doubt posting about it is going to make your problems with 10C any better.

If Dime were one of my mates and we were having this conversation in a room together I would have slapped him by now.

Ah, I always knew dime had an "in" but I never knew what it was.

If they did an "America's Most Wanted: Pearl Jam Ten Club Edition," how many of them do you think would be from RM?

1. The "DISSED by Jeff" guy:

Image
"Ooh, just as I suspected--there really is nothing like your baritone."

2. The "Petition to Release the Eddie Vedder Solo Shows" guy:
Image
"Uh, so, like, what am I signing again?"
"Trust me, it's important."

3. dimejinky99
Image
"Oh, so ye laddies want me Glen Hans'rd bootlegs, do ye? Well I stook'm in me potta gold, so f'rst ye gots ta catch me!"

4. Tim Bierman's phone call victims
Image
"Yo dude, who dis?"

Image
"Hey bro, it's Tim from the Ten Club. We need to talk about some stuff you said on the message board."

Anyone else I'm forgetting? I think you need ten (coincidence? I think not!) for a full episode.

Man, hearing Eddie trying to get some crowd participation in the chorus to "Animal" is sad. He gives up quickly after he realizes only 10 people in the house know the words.
