Ament is tired of waiting around. Awesome

Don't mean to give anyone a heart attack of course.

But yea....

Again, if the Oracle thing was PJ's last show, the irony would be AMAZING.

as a pretty huge Joseph Arthur fan and Jeff being my fave member of PJ, this excites me greatly.

song sounds great and I love Jeff's bass + backing vocals on it.

should be a fun show (if not rather empty @ First Ave)

Strat. When I saw this email announcing this I thought almost exactly the same thing. 'aw fuck. That's it then.'.

These side projects are probably getting all the energy and good songs.
Shame to see it go like this really.

Modern Time is an alright song. Not over the moon about it. But it could be a grower.

Maybe I'll go see 'em live in NYC.

Ament's by far the most prolific member of PJ. I enjoy his energy... whether he hits a homer or misses completely. At least he's putting it out there.

I've been saying for the past year and a half that their next album will be their last and you guys just blow it off. Now strat starts a thread and all of the sudden you agree? Piss off.

I'll move it back for now.

Let's see ...

Stone: 5 Brad albums and 1 solo album
Jeff: 2 Three Fish albums, 2 solo albums, and 1 Tres Mts. album
Mike: 1.5 Rockfords albums
Eddie: 2 solo albums
Matt: I don't know ... stuff.

Ignoring all the failed projects and single songs, Stone is still slightly more active in side projects. I'm not worried about the demise of Pearl Jam. Especially since Jeff's writing contributions have been a little hit and miss for me.
