No, SG should open because PJ is the more relevant (in terms of currently) band.

Agree. PJ's live shows are pretty big league crowd-pleasers, generally speaking; and they've been active for the 15 odd years SG has not. It would be absurd for them to open for SG.

You guys are thinking way too inside the box.

What about a rotating stage with SG on one side and PJ on the other and Matt in the middle. MC drums away in the middle while SG plays an SG song and PJ plays a PJ song simultaneously and the stage turns at about one rotation per song.

Then Matt only has to play one set but the fans get both SG and PJ in one concert.

Matt Cameron double-disc solo album. Cornell vocals on first disc, EV vocals on the other.

Or! You could have a hologram Matt, like the Tupac hologram, that plays during half the songs, so he gets a break.

I like the living hell out of this idea.

I vote for hologram Dave Abbruzzese - it's likely the only way we're going to see him back on stage with Pearl Jam.

Lol...wouldn't that be the funniest thing of all time. They boot Dave out of the band, then spend a million dollars on a hologram version of him. I'd laugh forever. :haha:

I think you'd be more likely to see Dave Abbruzzese on stage with holograms of Ed, Stone, Jeff and Mike

Hate to break it to you guys, but I'm pretty sure that company that did the holograms went out of business... And clearly no one else has that kind of technology...

Can't someone make a .gif of R2-D2 playing a Dave A. hologram?

I could, but it'd be a colossal waste of time

Whatever keeps Dave Grohl away from a microphone gets my vote.

Let's start a petition.

Well you clearly read part of my post, then decided to skip out on the rest of it.

Dave Grohl should always drum. His work with QOTSA, Nirvana, and Them Crooked Vultures is better than pretty much anything he's done with the Foo Fighters.
