So I was searching youtube for any type of remixes of Pearl Jam songs, and most of them are complete shit. Pearl Jam doesn't lend itself very well to remixes I feel. But then I finally stumbled upon this one. Super chill and tasteful remix of Indifference. I think it's awesome.

And if you're interested I also found this freaking awesome dubstep remix of Soundgarden - Spoonman

and a chill dubstep remix of Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box which I also liked

What do you guys think? I've been waiting for someone to make some epic Pearl Jam remixes, I think it can be done.

I found the "Indifference" remix awful, but that Soundgarden one is cool.

Wasn't keen on the Indifference one. It's basically the same song with a shitty beat put on top of it (and sometimes goes out of time).

The Spoonman one didn't annoy me as much as I thought it would. I hate dubstep but it wasn't as strictly dubstep as it could've been.

My favourite was the Nirvana one. I felt it actually added something inventive and strange to the song, while keeping it in the mood it was originally. Weirdly, Cobain's voice suited it (which is more than I can say for the others), and again, it wasn't completely annoying dubstep. Chilled and melancholy.

I am not familiar with dubstep so perhaps I am easily impressed. Still, I liked the Indifference.

I personally like all them all. The. Indifference is basically the same but with some nice echoey electronic effects. I like it. And The Soundgarden remix could be a total club banger.

To me it begs the question of which Pearl Jam song would be best suited for an electronic music remix (it doesn't have to be dubstep, there are many genres within Electronic Music)

I always thought the chorus of Do The Evolution or Why Go would be really catchy for an electronic dance remix. Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Nirvana have a couple of club remixes, but nobody has attempted Pearl Jam. I would try but it takes alot more skill and talent than many would think.

I don't like the Nirvana one. It seems to lose more of the original than the other two, replacing instruments with annoying sounds.
