Eddie showed up yesterday at Bridge School for two songs, before GNR..he even joked about it.
The rumor is that the band was late...wonder if they talked backstage.

Great job by Ed on a moment's notice. As much as we all bitch about this band, when you look at how big a fucking douchebag Axl Rose is showing up late to a benefit. If I was Ed, I would gave him a piece of my mind, but maybe Ed saying what he said when he opened was just that.

Stinson likes backspacer.. :luv:

its weird and nice to see some rock icons close when they came from so different places, and im talking about Axl and Eddie.
They really are antagonists of echaother in a lot of ways right?
To hear Eddie saying " im opening for guns n roses" its kinda surreal.

Silly Ed. You don't have to count "12342" when you're standing on stage by yourself with a guitar.

I got excited thinking maybe Neil was going to join at some point. Or Axl.

The 2012 boots and this performance are making me think Ed is learning to control his current voice a little better. I thought both of these songs sounded great (especially Last Kiss).

maybe he finally quit the smokes.

on elderly woman he really nailed the "never DREAMED you'd return" part.
