I don't mind the on rails stuff if the presentation is this top notch. Shit, the other games are pretty linear too.

I was going to ask...is there sort of just one way of doing things? Like if you miss your "cue" or whatever do you just die? Never played the first one so sorry if this is a stupid question, it just seems like there was only one correct thing to do in most of those situations.

I think he was more referring to it's not a game where you just get to explore around all over the place, which is fine by me.

exactly...I'm a big sandbox kinda gamer so I tend to pick on that detail a bit. Bioshock isnt as on rails as I make it sound...although that video kinda does make it seem like there are a lot of "cues" to be followed.

Please don't let that deter you though...like I said before...the original Bioshock was a true masterpiece and Infinite looks just as impressive. I rememebr Bioshock making me think deep thoughts and making me feel dark emotions...this looks to be the same formula.

I find that I have so little time to play games any more that I much prefer a tight, linear, well-crafted 10-hour game to a loose, all over the place 30-hour sandbox game.

I'm with you. Outside of a few titles (Zelda, Fallout 3) I get lost in huge games and lose the urgency to finish it.

Man, I really just want a game that plays itself for me.

Like a pixar movie, but with bad cgi and bad voice acting!

I kind of figured this would get delayed again. February is a good time to release this type of game. It avoids all of the holiday hustle and bustle.
