The second film is definitely being made. It's got the green light. Craig and Mara are contracted for all three films. Fincher is not. There has been no announcement yet as to whether or not Fincher will return.

But Fincher has said that if he returns he would want to do 2 & 3 at the same time.

Good to hear, I'm working on The Girl Who Played with Fire right now. Want to have both books read before the films come out, that way I won't have it backwards like I did with TheGirl with the Dragon Tattoo.

any movie that makes go to the original book is a success for me.

I rewatched this on the television set. For some reason it registered better. I liked it.
