For some reason I couldn't get through the book. But I'm super excited for the TV series. Maybe I'll give the book another go before this thing airs. |

he had another book made into a tv show... neverwhere? maybe? they did a good job with it (low production value excepted) - the idea of American Gods on HBO seems promising. dct, why didn't you like this book? not your style of writing? |

But none of the characters grabbed me and the story didn't feel like it was moving. I stopped after about 250 pages. I'd like to give it another go. I'm a firm believer in the idea that the book has to find you. I kinda forced that one, I think. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood. |
