It's also a time when shows on the bubble--those series whose ratings haven't lived up to their buzz--find out if they'll get another shot at prime-time success. E! Online's Kristin Veitch reports that Fox is "99.9 percent of the way there" in renewing the Emmy-winning sitcom Arrested Development, which many industry insiders felt was doomed to the TV graveyard.
The official announcement of next fall's schedule for Fox is Thursday.

Whats the angry face for?
Im very happy its being renewed for 2 seasons.
Where do you get two seasons? I see most likely renewed, but not 100% yet. So the smiley is for the "most likely" and the angry face is for "not 100%."

Yesterday it said 2 seasons (because fox wants to hold on to it until Syndication rights, and dvd sales rights)... But alas, is has been changed to one season, confirmed.

I figure if Fox doesn't pick it up, it could always move to one of the loser networks like UPN or WB or even a cable station like USA. I dont know if those networks could afford the cast though...

I'm not quite sure why the show is so highly-rated. I mean, everything that happens is based on just illogic. There's no reality involved. I can't relate to a random plot that doesn't tie into the real world.
Now a really funny show is The Daily Show.

Who gives a fuck if it doesn't relate to reality? It's meant as entertainment, why does everything have to be fucking reality these days?
