And about the Surrealist thing ... the work is amazing and interesting to stare at but I wouldn't want a surrealist piece hanging up in my house. I love impressionist stuff, like the Morans that bmac posted. My fave:

Yeah, don't get me wrong ... aside from a couple watercolours and some garage sale stuff, the majority of the framed art hanging up in my house is by Ames Bros. |
