That's funny, I saw it in the theater twice and loved it both times.

Absurd. It's self-indulgent at times. But it is certainly watchable. In fact, it's even enjoyable. Even if you don't think it's brilliant (which is fine, I suppose), it's AT LEAST watchable.

I think that's what you meant to say. You meant to say that it's at least watchable.

I have to say I really enjoyed all of Sean Penn's lines in this. Brilliant writing and dialogue.

So you missed the 90% of the movie that actually matters. Good job.

Oh, so I gotta watch fifty minutes of garbled mess wanna be nature show before I get to the part that matters? Why not just make an entire move that, ya know, matters?

It's cool man. Some people like to be challenged and moved by their movie going experiences. Ain't no thing. If you thought the first "fifty" minutes of the movie was nothing more than "garbled mess wanna be nature show" it's probably a good thing that you didn't try to watch the rest of it. The movie was already way ahead of you.

Indeed.

Just try catching me unawares without my pipe and monocle. As soon as I get that bowler hat, I'll be complete. Of course, I have to clear it thodoks first.
