Probably my favorite current show running. And it just got a Peabody. A smart, funny series that does well in the ratings (especially considering it's opposite American Idol) and is popular with the critics too? Who knew? Even my dad watches & likes Modern Family. Which is amazing to me because there's shows that he won't watch because there is a gay character in them. It was way cool seeing most of the adult cast at Mandalay Bay in Vegas when I was there in January. Even got a quick handshake from Ed O'Neil. Am I the only one that is reminded of a young Mila Kunis by the actress playing Haley? |

i love this show but i guess its a sign of how shitty telivision sitcoms are these days that people are saying its amazing. this show is nothing compared to seinfeld or arrested development. they take the gay stereotype and capitalize on it every night. it's hilarious but it's pretty much the same thing every night. again, i love the show but that's not saying much compared to what else is on TV. i think this is the only sitcom i watch. |

I do not, on any level, understand the comparisons to Arrested Development. the only similarity is that there is no laugh track. |

Guys, talking about how "hot" the daughter on a show is, should be reserved for crap like "8 Simple Rules for dating my daughter" and stuff like that. You dont talk about how "hot" women were on seinfeld, ad, curb, etc. (well, maybe samwise) This show is OKAY. at best. |
