jesus, I forgot how fucking brilliant this show was. as far as HBO shows goes, this is my #1, followed very closely by Dream On.

Rip Torn is genius in every episode

I bought the Best of DVD when it came out. I didn't watch this regularly, but yeah, its pretty damn funny. Hank Kingsley owns this show.

i just finished watching the best of DVD... if that final episode doesn't make you love tv nothing ever will. it really feels like a show full of nothing but creative people

Yea unfortunately they've only still yet got the first season on DVD, just recently got the 4 discs from my Blockbuster online, and even those it's a rather lackluster set. Don't know what's keeping on the rest of them (though I think there is a separate set where they've done a "best of" including like 15 or so eps from the entire series).
