I found the first half almost unbearable, and the second part really very enjoyable.

I definitely agree with you platy. The first part made a lot more sense in conjunction with the second but it was still some of the most bizarrely uncomfortable movie-making I've seen in a while. Was blown away at the end though and actually a bit shaken. Definitely worth seeing.
