love it, i have it on my itunes (the 10th anniversary at royal albert hall). as a kid, i watched this on pbs with the folks. the performances are all very strong, particularly 'on my own', among others.
I have this DVD. Super cool.

you mean the original French version? that's the one I knew first (still have the original vinyls, though the sleeve is badly water-damaged), but I couldn't really tell the difference when I heard the English one (apart from the language of course). I haven't listened to them side by side, but it didn't chock my memory.
and the book reads pretty well too. Hugo is a bit heavy but no more thn Tolkien, and nothing like Balzac the bore!

The imagery...wow.
The movie looks like it might be decent. I know Wolverine can sing, it's the rest of the cast I'm worried about. The trailer was OK, interesting look to it.
