just got around to watching season five. the finale was okay; the scene where lumen says she's leaving was fantastic. it's good to see dexter despise what he is once and awhile - they're making him more human. let's just hope that doesn't mean he's "cured" at the end of the series.
It's mildly frightening that you put "cured" in quotations.
finished this season. Its a shame, I really liked the Lumen storyline, but all the soap opera bullshit with the cops and the machete murderers and the pointless Peter Weller subplot were all a waste and a distraction. Should have just focused on Dexter and Lumen. I pretty much hate every other character now.
