Since 'Friends' ended its become my favourite show! IMO, its the most intelligent show on television these days. I'm in the UK, only seen to the end of season 4, season 5 comes out on DVD in April and i can't wait.

So discuss.....what does everyone think of the show? Toby is just a wonderful character.

if will bailey weren't a television character, i think i'd marry him.

It's lost some steam since Sorkin left. The stories just got wackier and wackier.

Still love it though.

It will NOT be russell. He is not likeable enough to carry the show for even a full season. I'll bet they are working it out right now, dteremining who audiences like better between Vinick and Santos, and that will determine how they move forward.

Although all the execs/writers for WW are uber-liberals, so the only way they make Vinick the continuing president is if they continually get manipulate any of his conservative stances.

I dont know the characters names but the shows producer has already stated who is going to win, do you want me to spoil it?

The Republican played by that fella from Mash (Alan Alda I believe, and he is a very left leaning liberay). They are taking the show in a different direction.

Great season finale.

2 cliffhangers:

who wins the election? Smits or Alda?

who leaked the military shuttle to the press and will be spending 10 years in federal prison? Toby or CJ?

discuss.

All the hints seem to be dropped that CJ leaked the story. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it was Toby, cause of his brother & all.

Yay for Leo :D
The last 10-15 minutes of that episode were awesome.

very well written. I loved the way Baker caused havoc at the convention.

it seems too obvious that it's CJ, but it could be that easy.

I thought the previews last week said that we'd know who the next president was by this week? that didnt really make any sense seeing they still hadnt had the DNC going into this week. did i misunderstand what it said? and does anyone know why the season finale was so early in the spring? dont most shows usually going into may?

I think the preview just said we would know who the democratic nom would be.

And i think they are ending early so NBC can launch new shows in WWs time slot.

The show started late this season and it went straight through without repeats. Maybe one repeat, i can't remember. i figured it was going to be the Democratic nominee becaue they'd have to skip through that and the whole election in 30 minutes. I'm guessing the first few episodes of next season are going to cover the election.

dude, it's july... next year is gonna be the race... leading up to november sweeps with the election, which could be a two parter... and then the new pres won't be getting in until january... think of when the show started way back in the day, we were already a year and a half into the 1st term

Got this boxset for Christmas, looking forward to watching it. I liked it back in the day but I was like 12 then so I'm interested to see what I think of it now.

That Aaron Sorkin sure can pontificate.
