I made it my mission 5 years ago to watch all 250 movies, and over the last 5 years I have done it. I know some have come and gone, but as it stands right now I have seen all 250 on list list.
My journey ended last night with #243 ( Fa yeung nin wa (2000) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118694/ )

My top 11 favorites go like this:

01) #84. 8.2 Jaws (1975)
02) #8. 8.7 Pulp Fiction (1994)
03) #2. 8.9 The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
04) #75. 8.2 Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) & 95. 8.1 Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004)
05) #16. 8.6 The Usual Suspects (1995)
06) #122. 8.0 The Deer Hunter (1978)
07) #83. 8.2 Aliens (1986)
08) #81. 8.2 Reservoir Dogs (1992)
09) #237. 7.8 Snatch. (2000)
10) #55. 8.3 Léon (1994)
11) #238. 7.8 Die xue shuang xiong (1989)

the five I liked the least were:

#222. 7.8 Being John Malkovich (1999)
#214. 7.8 The Exorcist (1973)
#205. 7.8 The Insider (1999)
#186. 7.8 The Straight Story (1999)
#099. 8.1 Before Sunset (2004)

Kill Bill 2>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Kill Bill 1

I'd like to see IMDB fix their list accordingly.

Also, Being John Malcovich sucks (the movie, being john malcovich would probably be pretty cool, but I wouldn't star in a movie about myself). Also, The Straight Story is shit.

You would if Charlie Kaufman wrote it. The man is amazing.

So do you have anything to say about:

Ran
8 1/2
2001 Space Odyssey
Metropolis
Chinatown
Mulholland Drive
Amorres Perros
Manhattan
The Graduate
Unforgiven
Yojimbo
The Wild Bunch

because otherwise your exercise was pretty pointless

Ran
Akira Kurosawa makes a beautiful movie, and this one was probable his best. Again good, but not it my top 10.

8 1/2
Federico Fellini is an excellent director, but this movie just didn't do it for me.

2001 Space Odyssey
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Metropolis
I saw this years ago, so I will have to revisit it.

Chinatown
JACK ! Its too bad they made the two jakes to mess with the legacy of this movie.

Mulholland Drive
Lynch's 4th or 5th best movie.. I didn't like the actors (Watts & Billy Ray Cyrus especially) and I thought it was self improtant.

Amorres Perros
Alejandro González Iñárritu is an excellent Director, but I liked 21 Grams better. I though this was OK but I may be bias becasue I really didn't like Gael García Bernal. HE took me out of the movie.

Manhattan
I don't really like Woody Allen's "thing" I didn't find one of his movies to be one I'd want to see again.

The Graduate
This is a great movie, not in my top 10, but I've seen it a bunch of times. This is Hoffman's sencond best movie (behind All the President's Men)

Unforgiven
Clint is a great director, and this is a solid movie. I disliked Jaimz Woolvett, and didn't really care what happend to him.

Yojimbo
I have to see this again before I comment, I saw it years ago.

The Wild Bunch
Probably my favorite wastern. Sam is the man and this movie must have been insane when it was new.

Not a big Diaz fan, and I love John Cusack, but not in this.
Jonze is weird.
I thought the plot was...uninteresting.

I thought Watts was great in both.

This is also a mission of mine. I hope to do it by the time I'm 25 or so.
