Did they say it would be a twist or that something shocking would happen? I can't remember.
That was an exciting end to the episode and we definitely got more insight into what will happen in the coming episodes. Shooting the president is a major thing but it appears that the main thing is getting ahold of those nuclear weapons. That would not be good.
I take it that the president is probably going to die and then they will swear in the VP. After that they will bring in Palmer to help out the VP who doesn't have experience in dealing with major issues like this. And jeez, Mike Novac is back. Damn.
Michelle has got a little thing going there, eh? Tony doesn't look to pleased. So much for something happening between them like I thought. Eh, I guess we'll just have to see what happens.

A very good episode, but Fox must really underestimate the intelligence of the average 24 viewer, if they didn't think we could see this coming for probably over a month now.
I don't like the new angle w/ Michelle & the other guy from Division...just seems like more soap opera shit. Also, I think it's getting safer to say that Jack & Audrey's relationship will be one thing that doesn't survive the day.
Very interesting to see Mike Novick (from Season 2) back in next week's ep. I can't believe he'd be working close w/ this president's staff, considering the shit he pulled in the aforementioned season.

yeah, i saw that a few weeks ago. right around the time the interrogation of paul happened and then don't forget about paul getting shot. those two things didn't help jack out

typical jack relationship. his significant other either gets killed, is a spy wanting to kill him, or a scared woman running from the terrorists that fall for jack, but then see who jack truly is as a person. it's same ol bidness..
twist? surprise? shocking? eh.
they could have had as the dude above said that beyruz was behind the whole thing. nice angle on getting the football... looks interesting. but i wouldn't say that they're going anywhere new with this.
random person finds/discovers x, contacts ctu in some way, jack goes out to find them after argueing that whatever he is about to do is the most important thing that needs to be done, jack recovers/gets x and said person is expendable, new plot twist in two hours when they changed the shooting schedule for the show. repeat above until formulaic and old hat.

Yeah, what happened to the Harrison Ford Air Force One with the escape pod for him and his son and the automatic maneuvering system that makes it impossible to shoot the plane?
