This movie sounds intriguing.
Should I buy it?

I recommend it, but its an odd film. The second half of the film feels soooooooo much different than the first half.

But you should buy it just for the first half, and laugh as the Drill instructor guy just verbally abuses these guys for an hour solid!

Excellent. I love A Clockwork Orange, and I really want to see some other Kubrick.

Its a great movie, but Kubrick had better, check out Clockwork Orange, 2001, and I also haven't seen it either but Dr. Strangelove which is supposedly in top 10 greatest films ever made.

It's worth buying for the first half of the movie.

It really is like 2 completely seperate films. My all time favorite quote "Old people fuck faster than you do an obstacle course private!!"

Strangelove is better, Paths of Glory is better. 2001 is his best, and Barry Lyndon is his prettiest, though Eyes Wide Shut is close.
