No kidding?! That's really neat! I guess I'll have to check out the episode. I've never actually watched the show before, because the concept never interested me. Sort of a been there, done that thing. I want to see this one though to see what he does. :D

Thanks for sharing that, PJA!

id advise you to give it a shot... i never wanted to really "give in" and watch it either, but now i am completely hooked... probably my favorite show (the only show i make a point to watch other than L&O SVU)

oh... and dont bother with Miami or NY, the original is way, way better

Thanks! Yes, my friend is hooked on it as well. I haven't had a chance to watch any of those new shows, 24 and CSI and stuff. I'll try to check it out though, and I'l let you know what I think!

I am so hooked on "CSI" also! It's my fave show! Can't wait for the season finale. Definitely will be watching! :D

I've watched a little bit of the CSI Miami and NY shows but just can't get into them. Some of the actors on the shows annoy me. But I agree that the original one is a helluva lot better.

Christ, that's exactly the same idea my film teacher was giving on this show...

That didn't make me any more keen on watching the show, to say the least! But I really should give some of these shows a chance. One thing I was worried about with CSI was that the episodes would be continuous, like you would have to see one episode to understand another... My friend told me that's not really the case, so I think I can rest easier. Does anyone know when this show plays, and what station is it on? I'm so CSI-ignorant, hehe.

CSI is on Thursday nights at 9:00 EST on CBS.

I like the original and Miami, but I can't get into NY.

I just think its a shitty show in general. I hate all that zoom in close computer generated bullshit shots. I also can not figure out when the Crime Scene Investigators began questioning suspects, doing investigations outside of the Crime Scene, or making arrests.

Don't forget to add all the computer technology they use that doesn't exist. I think I would like to use their video editing software that can take digitally pixellated video and make it perfectly clear and sharp. It would have some fantastic benefits for some of the PJ DVD's floating around. And the fact that Gil knows every minute detail about anything ever. I am a fan though, I like the first 10 minutes and then I can turn it off. I only want to see someone get killed then hear "Won't get Fooled Again" kick in.

Before I head to bed I wanted to say you should watch the show. I, unfortunately, didn't start watching it until October of last year. I'm hooked now, and have to decided to catch up on all of the episodes by buying season one, watching season three on weekends of ABC, and watching season five on CBS. It's a fantastic show plus Billy Petersen as Gil Grissom is way beyond excellent.

The spin-offs aren't worth the time though. That's my opinion.
