This is some game that I've never heard of that is supposed to come out for the Next Generation consoles. If the ingame graphics are actually this good, it would be a huge leap. They haven't announced which system it is being developed for.

It's amazing how far gaming has come in the past 30 years or so. Due to it's reliance on cutting-edge technology, it continues to grow at a greater pace than other forms of entertainment.

Usually it takes a year or two for developers to truly tap into a console's potential. The graphics might be amazing but the gameplay will get better and better. I personally can't wait for the new batch of games to come out.

Sopposedly the HD will allow backwards compatibility. Latest rumor is the HD will come with Halo 2.5 pre-installed. With the HD installed, 360 will be able to perform TiVo-esque functions.
I've also read that the bare-bones version of the console will ship shortly after the premium package. So the earliest adopters will be forced to buy the premium package.

Wow, I definitely need $400 extra dollars this fall.
Do you think it's a good move for Microsoft to be first out of the gate this time though? Last time Xbox had a huge advantage because they were last out and thus had better processors and graphics. The difference between the box and the cube wasn't huge but you can definitely tell the PS2 was out a year earlier. Anyway, looks really cool and I already want one!

It sounds to me the XBOX 360 will definately be the first out of the gate. It also sounds like PS3 will be the last console released, however, developers have already said PS3 is more powerful.

I thought the cop looked pretty impressive, and if you look at the clothes, they look like they may actually move realistically with the characters. You are right though, the scenery and the cars looks more realistic.
