Aren't all AMC shows great?

I forgot that DirectTV doesn't have AMC HD (if one even exists).

I saw the pilot, and it was pretty good, even if I didn't exactly understand what their jobs were or exactly what was going on. This NPR review I saw on IMDB helped a lot: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1389371/board/nest/167914903
I guess the better episode, episode 2, also played tonight, but I didn't see it yet. Did anyone else? I'll update when I watch it later in the week.

Well written and well acted show so far. I really enjoyed the intense outburst directed at Grant. I can't wait to see where this show will take me. Should be a great ride.

i want to like this show but it seems like it's getting less intriguing by the episode instead of more so

3rd episode was a letdown; I'm tired of the complaining analysts - just do your job.

maybe it will pick up in the fourth episode; I'm still hooked.

I think that's the differnce between a show on a network and a show on AMC. I doubt AMC going to cancel / discuss cancelling any of their shows after just a few episodes, unlike the major networks. The writers can then really develop the characters and the plot - each episode doesn't have to have a revelation or a "whoa" moment. While it may be a tab uninteresting at times, in the long-run, I'll bet it's worth it.
