Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has revealed the BD-Live features for the upcoming Blu-ray release of 'Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story', due to hit store shelves on April 8th, day-and-date with the DVD release. In addition to having access to numerous theatrical and home video previews, viewers will be able to download video of Bill Hader as Derek Stone, a historian and expert "Coxologist". These three features will be exclusive to the Blu-ray release.
Lexine Wong, Senior Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment commented, "Sony Pictures is truly excited about our initial foray into BD-Live interactivity. These releases offer entertainment enthusiasts just a glimpse of some of the remarkable new features that will soon be available on high definition Blu-ray Disc."
The disc will also come with an FAQ explaining BD-Live features and how the use them.
