Do you think that the final installment will make people weep in the theater? It could be by Anikan's fall or just the finality of the saga, however, I expect to see / hear people weeping in the theater. I was never at a movie where people cried. My mother is a Star Trek fan who saw Star Trek 2 soon after its release and she said many people were crying when Spock died.
Anyone agree / disagree?

If they kill Natalie Portman, yes, I'd cry.
I cried at the Lord of The Rings films, each of them.

I cried at Episode II when I watched Hayden Christianson try to read Lucas's dialogue and sound genuine.
I watched episode II last night, and it would've been so much better if he didn't try to sound like Vader(which I read was his excuse), and just act. He's like a fish out of water when he's in scenes with actors like McGregor, Jackson and McDiarmid. It's a shame. Let's hope he does better in Sith.

No, I won't be surprised if people cry. I don't think I will, but given my wife's recent track record with LOTR and The Passion, I'm pretty sure we'll be taking some tissues.
Speaking of The Passion, I saw it with a church group a day before it opened and half the theater was crying or just not saying a word.......movies can sometimes be really powerful, especially when you've been waiting so long.

I watched episode I last nite. Goddam Jar Jar. I'd kill that fucker. He's worse than C3PO and an Ewok combined.

I laughed loudly and inappropriately.
