I bought the Kollectors edition mainly so i can own Mortal Kombat I on the x-box hehe, but Deception is rather good, very entertaining. Konquest mode is cool, like a nice lil RPG, KOMBAT CHESS!!
i need to also pick up a copy of Midway Arcade Classics 2 so i can have arcade perfect versions of MK II and III

So is this game worth getting if you don't have the ability to play online? (yet) I am a big fan of all the mortal kombat games. I got bored with Deadly Alliance, though. I am old and don't really have a lot of friends who play Mortal Kombat. Does it hold your attention playing one-player?
And what is this about a Arcade perfect version of I and II? Is this available for Ps2?

Yeah i'd say its worth getting, its pretty fun, you'd spend a bit of time on it unlocking all the characters, movies, bios, alternate bios, and stuff like that in the Konquest mode, which is like an RPG.
The Arcade perfect versions of II and III are in Midway Arcade Treasures vol. 1 , selling for 19.99, and yes its out on PS2, on all systems. If you want MK I you're gonna have to get the Collectors Edition of Mortal Kombat Deception. Midway at the last minute took MK I out of Midway Arcade Treasures and put it in with the Collectors edition of Deception, unfortunately the Collectors edition costs 10 dollars more than the regular edition (59.99 instead of 49.99)

I just looked up Midway Arcade Treasures on Amazon.com. It does not show either of the MK games on there. Although it does have a lot of kickass games. Are they just not listed or are you LYING to me?
