Does anyone think that the new trilogy just turned Vader into a big pussy? I mean, for over 20 years he was the personification of unfeeling evil. He was cold, dark and you had no idea why he decided to wipe out whole star systems. That made him badass!
Now, he's cute little Jake Lloyd and pussy-whipped Hayden Christensen. I mean, when it's midnight, and I call my wife to tell her I'm gonna be late, the guys at poker night call me whipped. And here's the ultimate evil waking up from a full transition into Sith mode and he whines, "where's Padme?" And don't forget the mama's boy stuff. Someone in his life dies and he takes it out on everyone around him. He's just a trailer-trash, abusive boyfriend.
Fuckin' pussy! Why didn't someone kick his ass sooner than ROTJ?

i agree..it could have been done a lot more convincingly..i didn't really have as much of a problem with jake lloyd's character...but in episodes 2 and 3 i was pretty dissapointed
i was beginning to think i was the only person who felt that way about epsiode 3

The reason he went to the dark side was to save Padme. When she died he realized that he had nothing else to live for so he embraced the Emperor's teachings and became the evil vader that we all know.

Yeah, I saw Episode III. I still think that makes him a pussy. He was much scarier when he was just evil for the sake of evilness. When I was a kid I thought he and all the stormtroopers were robots. That made the scary as fuck!

i think the idea is that, yeah, everyone has to deal with the losses that annakin had, but that it makes us more succeptable to the dark side.
