my high school marching band did a west side story for our show one year. we won a marching band invitational and we all burst out singing "i feel pretty, oh so pretty..."
having said that, i've never actually seen the musical, and i only know the songs that we played during the show. maybe i should go rent it or something.

i adore the music. the movie is definitely a little on the cheesy side of things but it just gets better every time i watch it, though i recommend keeping a box of tissues right next to you
