I highly recommend the following:

Battle Angel (Gunnum) - good luck finding this one
Record of the Lodoss War OVA
Ninja Scroll
The Venus Wars
Cowboy Bebop
Trigun
Escaflowne

You can not go wrong with any of them. ENJOY !!

Miyazaki is recognised as one of the all-time greatest filmmakers for good reason.

NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Winds
Laputa: Castle in the Sky
My Neighbor Totoro
Kiki's Delivery Service
Porco rosso
Princess Mononoke
Spirited Away

Howl's Moving Castle is premiering soon. I'm sleeping with my tickets everynight.

while we're on miyazaki, several of his titles are 14.99 at best buy through the end of august. i think its princess mononoke (one of my favorite films, ever), spirited away, castle in the sky, and kiki's delivery service. pick them up before they go back up to 25 bucks (or more) again.
