Yeah, Val Kilmer and George Clooney were absolutely horrible. Keaton was stellar.

Whatever happened to that Batman vs Superman movie that was being discussed?

Bale looks a lot like....Batman. His jaw looks fucking great.

Certainly not as gay as the Val Kilmer years. I guess that was the director's fault, what the hell was his name??

sure, but then it's glaringly obvious that your not a batman fan, as you said. any hardcore fan knows that Keaton was it, 100%. it's not looks so much as attitude.

Keaton definitly had the attitude, but I had a hard time getting past the physical preconceptions I have had about Batman. I could never see Michael Keaton as a menacing figure because of his physique. He did a great job but I always pictured Batman as a 6'4" 275lb figure.

I think Bale has both the attitude and physical prowess needed for the role. I hope he can pull it off.

i happened to like how kilmer carried off the role. keaton was good - but just didn;t seem like *batman* to me. so i still stick by my own opinion. i liked kilmer as batman best....not merely for physique. looks wise i think clooney was the most batmanesque...yet i completely disliked him in the role.

I think you just saw Top Gun and you have a thing for Val Kilmer. This has nothing to do with Batman.

Lame costume; I don't like it. The mask is all fucked up: "ears" too close together and the mouth area is too small. The faux muscles also suck. I'd like to have seen them stick with what works from the first Keaton Batman.
