Caught this film the other day and was very impressed. Billy Bob Thornton, for whom I can't say much of usually, was sublime, and delivered a great performance. Anyone else a fan?

I love this movie. Another winner directed by Sam Raimi. Great performances all around.

Very good film. And Thornton is great in basically every role he's played. Care to give me an example of when he's been sub-par?

That sounds like a challenge to me.
The Alamo, Armageddon, Waking up in Reno, Primary Colors... and that's just of movies i've seen.
He is one of the more consistently good actors though, and take note that out of the 4 above movies, he is supporting in one, and barely supporting in the other.

Why did those movies slip my mind? probably cause they all suck. Oh well, he's usually great in every "good" movie he's been in.

I agree... It seems like he phoned in most of the above mentioned movies for the paycheck. I'm definitely looking forward to the bad news bears remake. I've still gotta get my hands on Bad Santa... I'm clueless as to why I haven't seen that yet.

Everytime I hit up a DVD store, I try and find it. Guess they stopped producing it. Hope it gets a new release soon. It is my favorite Raimi film, and one of the better movies I've seen in the past 5 years.
Edit: past 7 years, how time flies.

Anyone else spend time trying to figure out how to launder the money after watching this movie.
Casinos? change the money (in small denominations) into chips and then cash the chips in a bit later?
what else?
Why not just go with the Swiss bank account? Maybe convert the cash into other forms of currency all over Europe. Possibly by arms from the Russian mafia then peddle them off in LA, that could work also.
