Who knows ...

After getting no response from the hotel's management, he went down to the front desk where he took his frustration out by allegedly hurling said phone at the clerk, "hitting him in the face and causing a laceration and substantial pain," according to the complaint.

When was it exactly that getting arrested first became "standard operating procedure" and part of the promotional "rounds" a celebrity makes to push/plug their newly released or 'soon to be released' work?
Seems like, if songs aren't leaking then celebrities are getting themselves in trouble with the law..... now if we all just had the extra bandwidth to download films on a regular basis, we'd be "set" ....
Bet me this person settles out of court for an undisclosed amount and no felony charges are filed,... and at best Russell get's to go to Anger Management Class (but highly unlikely).

He's a good actor and all... but man does he have an ego. I recently read an interview with him where he said he gets literally every major script in hollywood, and he likes to see who gets the ones he turns down.

I thought he made a pretty respectable appearance on Letterman last night. Obviously he's an ass for doing what he did, but he seemed sincerely sorry.
Prior to the incident he was on The Daily Show a little while back. He was great. Funny, intelligent...I thought maybe he wasn't quite as big of an ass as I had originally labeled him. My mistake.
