If you dont listen to this show, you need to start today. I catch most of the interviews via their online archive. Good staring point would be last thursday's interview w/the white stripes. Also search the archive and find the interview with Dan Aykroyd, its brilliant and revealing.

This is one of the best shows on public radio. She is a remarkable interviewer and she has an unbelievably high quality of guests, mostly musicians, actors, directors, and other people in entertainment. She gets hour-long interviews with people who very rarely ever do radio interviews as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see Eddie on her show someday actually talking about things he's never talked about before.

BTW, I've never been a big fan of Aykroyd, but yes, that interview was one of the best I've ever heard. She also had filmmaker John Waters on a couple years ago, and I was sitting in my car on my lunch hour just laughing my ass off. Search that one too.

Yeah, I dont know how she does it, but she can get things out of people that you have never heard before. She actually got Meg White to talk a little. I remember the John Waters interview and she asked what he thought about gay marriage and he said something like, "I dont know why gay people want to get married so bad, I don't"
