What most people don't know is big stars like that usually have some very funny people writing material for them. Check out the credits after a comedian has an HBO comedy special, alot of them will show a bunch of names under "Writers" other than the standup comic.
Murphy writes a whole lot of the material on the Chapelle show, Leno and Letterman have some great writers.
Lets get backc to the point, Charlie Murphy is a funny MF-er

best. storyteller. ever.
If you haven't yet, you MUST watch the extra two hollywood moments stories that he tells on season 2 DVD special features disc.
To be honest, I thought they dragged on and became rather boring overall. Watching his numerous takes of laughter during the Prince Hollywood moment was far funnier.
we can't all forget about Paul Mooney,
the first time i seen his act, well on VHS tape, was on Andrew Dice Clay Valentine's Day Massacre; he's one of the best comics out there today

didnt Dave and Murphy have a falling out? some daves quotes when he went missing gave the impression that ol' Charlie Murphy was gettign too big for his britches in daves mind...
Saw Charlie Murphy at Bonnaroo, this guy is hilarious.
to illustrate how much Dave has become part of our culture, I was in Walmart at about 5 AM and over the loud speaker one of the employees come on and says "I just wanna say happy birthday to my good friend Charlie Murphy, Ha Ha Ha, I am Rick James Ha Ha Ha!"

I wouldn't be surprised. It's like when Tracy McGrady all of a sudden became better than Vince Carter.
And oh yeah....I completely agree that Charlie Murphy >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>> eddie murphy

I'm seeing Charlie Murphy next month. The bill said that it features Charlie Murphy and the Chapelle Show all-stars, or something like that, so i can't imagine he's had too much of a falling out with Dave.
