So appearantly there's a lot of deleted scenes for this movie, and a special extended 4-disc-version will be released towards the end of the year, while a 2-disc-version will be released in the fall.
I haven't seen the movie, but it's nice to see that another director does what Peter Jackson did, and adds extended stuff to a special release on a DVD. The extended cut of Kingdom of Heaven is supposed to be about one hour longer than the theatrical release.
I took this off the top of my head, so excuse me if some of the details are wrong. I read it in Empire, an English movie-mag.

When I saw this, my roommate and I had to think there were deleted scenes, because some parts had absolutely no transition, thus a bit forced and made it hard to follow.

That's basically what Ridley Scott said too, but he had to trim the film down for the theatrical release. Nicely spotted
