I walked out of the midnight screening of Avengers, about 20 minutes before the end. Still haven't bothered to see the rest.

Never. Not even to use the restroom.

I had to pee so badly during Meet Joe Black. But I kept thinking it was almost over. As we all know that movie is never almost over. It just keeps going and going and going and going and going.

When the thing finally ended, I had to limp, hunched over, all the way to the restroom. I had to pee so badly I couldn't even stand up straight. It was pretty bad.

But, yeah, I've never walked out of a movie.

was headed for the door during dark knight rises, but it was pretty much over. something about a batman statue or some shit.

However, I did fall asleep during LA Confidential. Saw it again later. Didn't miss anything.

I've tuned out during some others for various reasons - boredom, too hot, blow jobs, people talking too loudly, the film broke, etc.

Norbit and Evita

I don't find it to be proper film viewing etiquette to walk out on a movie. No matter what it is.

I regret the second part of this so much now. Don't be like me, kids. Be open to boredom. It can be good for you.

I never want to be like you, Arg.

No, I made this same mistake in school too. If I could go back and give my full attention to a couple of the movies I would. It was mainly the weekly class routine that made me tired and uninterested.

Very few. Mostly at film festivals, where I think my time could be better spent at some different screening.

"Rabbit Pix", an esoteric Italian film about naked teenagers living together in a house and eating breakfast.
"Boarding Gate", an excruciatingly slow crime drama with Michael Madsen and Asia Argento.
"At Ellen's Age", an incredibly arduous German film about a flight attendant who joins a militant vegan group. I actually walked out during what I thought was the final scene (I'd miscalculated and had a screening that was about to start at another room), but later found out it went on for another 40 minutes.
