I'm the kind of person, that even if it's kinda boring, I'll stick with it since I paid for it...

But how bout you all? Any movie ever made you walk out?

The only movie I've ever walked out on was Sleepers. I felt like my brain was rotting watching that shit. I walked out shortly after you are first introduced to the kids as adults (kevin bacon, brad pitt etc.). I don't like polluting my head with images/thoughts/storylines of children being raped. I don't call that good cinema, even if they do "get revenge" in the end(or so people tell me, I refuse to ever watch it again)

I feel like this thread should have been started by someone from Utah.

I have never walked out of something I've paid for, but I know a few people that have walked out of the movies.

Die Unberürbahre

this is probably the slowest movie ever made... I walked out after an hour...I would have done it earlier if the guy sitting next to me didn´t fell asleep...

It was shown during a movie festival a couple of years ago here in Uruguay and ended up winning the "best movie" award...

that´s the only time I walked out of a movie

The only movie I ever walked out on because it was so bad was Clueless. I walked out on Heat but that was because I was hammered and I got into an argument with my girlfriend. I wanted to walk out on Leprechaun but there was a possibility that Jennfer Aniston (before she was popular) got naked, we stayed, she stayed clothed.

How could you walk out on Clueless?

It sucked. I was there with 2 of my friends and all of our girlfriends, after about 45 minutes the 3 of us went out and played video games until the movie was over.

Tomb Raider 2 is the only movie I've ever walked out of.

no, not really. Are mormons the only people who are against child molestation? If so, I guess I better convert, I didn't realize I was part of the "pro-child rape" crowd.

i don't think i've ever walked out on a movie, but i've fallen asleep at quite a few - the last one being 'star wars episode three,' but i think that was because i was drunk.

I was just talking about the title of this thread, and not the movie that you listed.

alright, alright.. I guess that makes a little more sense now. Like I said, I may be a bit slow today.

What title to this thread would you have prefered... to give it a less Utah-tainted feel?

I've actually bailed on a few:

The Spitfire Grill - Because it sucked
Jackie Brown - Because there was good foreplay in the theater and I wanted to get some (love the movie now by the way but I stand by my decision)
Sideways - Bad mood, crowded theater full of old people....I just wasn't feeling it. Kind of wish I had finished it though, just to see how it turned out.

I started watching that on TV at home and walked out of my house.

I had free tickets to see "down to you" and it sucked and halfway through we left, my friend ran out of the theater screaming "this movie SUCKS".

Don't remember the name of the movie, but it was the one where my date started going down on me. I let that go on for a few minutes, then I had to get her back to my place, stat.
