Has anyone seen this show? I think it's fascinating and I envy the opportunity this guy has opened up for himself to get in touch with the very core of his humanity.

I saw a commercial for it. it looks very interesting to say the least. You would have to be one very dedicated person to go through all of that.

I agree. He seems like a very strong person. I can't imagine being immersed in a culture that I did not understand in any way.
