Seasons 1-2 of TITUS recently came out on dvd. Last night I had a discussion with my fiance about how Titus was a great show and we both agreed it should be on dvd and why wasnt it? well little did we know it WAS!!!

Im still working on Scrubs, The Job, and Sportsnight box sets and I recently got Dream On and Larry Sanders Show.....I guess I will have entertainment thru the winter!

anthony hopkins turns in a great performance in this one for sure, even though it's one of shakespeare's lesser works.

some of the "time machine" sequences are a little obtuse, though. And the framing with the little boy tends, perhaps, to detract from some of the actor's performances. Still, an admirable and interesting film. I'm glad you started a thread about it.

I thought the director's past experience as a costume designer really enhanced the overall aesthetic of the film as well, and Jessica Lynch's performance was devilishly good.

Typical Fox Live Action Comedy (Arrested Development being the exception)

Very very good first season..
followed by season of progressively worse episodes... Malcolm, 70's Show, Titus...

the show was pretty funny overall, even though the second season lacked it was still better than almost every other show on tv.

Hopkins in the chef outfit was the most fun I've had watching Shakespeare since Branagh's Hamlet.

There were 3 great episodes, about 5-6 decent ones and the rest were total garbage.
