I've been re-watching the series lately, and it's striking the second time around how lost the Munch character is without Bolander there.

That's a quick turn around. Awesome

I never could get into this show. Somebody tell me how this thread is longer than the one for The Wire.

Guys, Danial Baldwin follows my main twitter, but my "HomicideQuotes" twitter is now being followed by Luther Mahoney, Det. Falsone (jon seda) and Simon Adebisi from OZ.

Rewatching the series(just started 6,) I find that while the later seasons(with the exception of 7) have better story arcs and plots, the strength of the individual episodes is so much stronger in the first 3 seasons. The original cast is just alot better than the subsequent replacements also.

Cool indeed. I saw Adebisi in something recently but I can't for the life of me remember what it was.

I just watched half an episode of Bones because I saw Kellerman in it.

also, I got an autographed Reed Diamond photo in the mail, and I'm more than a little excited about it.

I was a fan when it was on TV. Turns out so was she. True story, the other day we saw an election sign for local sheriff, "VOTE ANDRE BAUER". It reminded us both of Andre Braugher and we decided we should watch it again.

So my repeated pleas fell on deaf ears, but a random billboard convinced you?

You never plead to me personally, did you? And I never come to this thread much because I'm intimidated by all the knowledge. It's been years since I've seen it.

I've hated every character I've seen him play. Maybe that means hes a good actor.

Lately I've been re-watching Homicide and The Wire kind of at the same time, and it's almost like The Wire takes what would be one real good 45 minute episode of Homicide and stretches it into an incredible 12 episode season. I could see the Port season being an episode of Homicide.
